Swipe Down Notification Panel is way too narrow in latest release. Help!

I received a release last night. The swipe down Notification Panel is way too narrow. When I swipe down from the top, the Notification Panel only takes up a quarter of the screen. There is wasted space on both sides of the Panel. The width was the entire screen in all previous versions, which was a million times better because then I could read the entire notification(s) without actually opening them. I could read them right there from the panel. This new narrowness is complete garbage. I can barely read the notifications in the panel because of the tiny area and text wrapping. Does anyone know how to fix it?

From reading each post (assuming you have a foldable to) and going thru the comments and reading each one. There appears not to be a fix for this yet. It was a known problem in the beta. They will have to shoot out an update to this this issue

This doesn't seem like a bug, it's intentional , the panel settings even explain it as such. Swiping from right side brings the quick panel and swiping from anywhere else brings notification panel.. The more narrow view, I assume, is to allow you to still see your work flow while viewing notifications.

Swiping down from anywhere brings down the notification panel for me, which is what I want. But the narrow view is terrible. I want to be able to read all my notifications from the panel, which I was able to do before this terrible change. The change to a narrow view is the definition of a "solution in search of a problem."

I was just pointing out that this isn't a bug... Sure of you have the panels grouped together, you can swipe from anywhere ... It doesn't address the point though that seems to be intentional rather than a bug... This is evident from the phone dialer app view when unfolded as well... Unfortunately, I don't see them pushing any update "hotfix" to have the wider view. I would've at least liked an option to have the full screen view.

Thanks, but I'm not concerned about if they categorize it as a bug or not. At minimum, it is a design flaw that needs to be rectified immediately.

My notification panel was fine but the latest update messed it up. I have even tried going into the developer options to adjust minimal width but that didn't work. Samsung please send out a fix. It is now difficult to read anything on my notification panel due to the comically small panel size.

I agree. We are spending almost double than what the S series phones cost and yet we are never thought about until there is a problem.
