Get familiar with modes and routines. Routines automate a lot of processes seamlessly that would take multiple clicks to do when you need to do them (if you actually remember to do them). Modes are a quick way to set certain actions on an on demand basis if you don't need those actions to take place at a set time or place (although, they too, can be automated). They can even help you return actions that were taken away in an update.

Taking a screen shot is nearly impossible with the contortions you have to go through: palm swipe - no go because one invariably swipes to a new screen or doesn't get the hang of it to actually get the shot. Volume down + side button - awkward. Back tap - acceptable, but you have to get the exact right spot, also awkward. Button action routine - perfect.

Edit: I forgot the mention edge panels. Edge panels are a great way to add more shortcuts when you run out of space on your favorites bar or don't want to clutter your screen with a bunch of widgets (stacked or not).

Ive learned to love some of the "gestures", swiping the screen inward from the edge will take you back to your previous screen with each swipe. Just a little thing I know but super handy when youre in a hurry and need to get back to what you were just doing or in case you lose something.

My Galaxy tip use everything from your Galaxy but yet internet connects anything you can use on your Galaxy from your accent every phone use it Do not go through all that stuff on You the only cats internet access everything is the best tip I can give you I get great pictures I make videos and I love my Galaxy Google don't know nothing Google is only knows what people with the internet I'm an old generation I'm GenX I'm not crazy about technology but I don't like Google cuz it must most of our history but I love my Samsung one these days when I get my hands why get my own home all my appliances for visit together will be nothing but Samsung.

TO TAKE A SCREENSHOT SHORTCUT

Go to settings
Go to accessibility
Tap on interaction and you get a whole series of icons. Whichever ones you want, tap and it will go to the upper bar space.
You can make them as transparent as you want.They will float on your screen , tap on which one you want that is floating on your screen

Good Lock. Download Good Lock and it's modules and have fun making your phone your own. Good Lock is Samsung's official customization app. Each module is full of nifty features you can add or activate to suit your needs. Because it's modular, you only need to download the ones you want, but Home Up is a must, as is Theme Park and/or Quick Star.

Enable Adaptive Battery and move unused apps to Deep Sleep. Noticeable battery improvement without affecting daily apps.

@NFM if you download Good Lock's display assistant, you will get a toggle to keep your screen on for up to 30 minutes at a time. You can also set the screen time out for the phone app to 10 minutes so you have time to navigate the voice menus. This assumes you have a phone higher than an A1x and are running at least OneUI7.0

My favorite feature in my Galaxy s25 ultra is actually one of the features that I've used in my previous s20, and this is the ability to put an extra dim shortcut in the bottom right hand corner of my phone. You might think it's weird that I want my phone so dark but especially as a newer mom this came in so handy with late night feedings and my kids waking up in the middle of the night when I just need to check the time but I didn't need to be blasted with my bright home screen. This is a feature that I use everyday and it was so easy to put in. In general the shortcut button has so many Great different options that just make accessibility and life so much easier, whether it's the extra dim or it is the magnifier so many different options.
