Hello,

Is there a way to check Samsung's SSD (870 EVO)'s warranty status without an account? I just want to see if this old SSD warranty is still valid. It was never registered.

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/contact/?model=N0054510&modelCode=MZ-77E4T0B%2FAM web page's e-mail us link opens a new blank web browser tab in three of my web browsers. Is it broken?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

Here's where my accounting mind goes a little crazy. Samsung usually has a one year warrenty on all it's products. If you're thinking about taking advantage of this selling point then you'll need proof of purchase, a receipt, with the date on it. So this question, should be mute.

Of course, I could be wrong about it being just one year, but you're still going to need a receipt. So, I would check with the seller first to see if they have an extended warrenty, before messing with the Samsung warrenty.

"Alternatively, you can check warranty coverage for all US Samsung products with your model and serial number or IMEI number" here:

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/warranty/

I wasn't fully aware that you needed to log in; however, if you're are typing in the forum, and you are, then you have an account. The information stated that you could check the warrenty by the serial number or IMEI. So, I don't see the issue with logging in, if that is what is required.

That said, I can see, without signing in, that in the information for your device, 870 EVO, has the five year warrenty.

Also, it is my understanding that you can register your product at any time and it may be necessary to do so if you are seeking warrenty replacement or repair. If you have fears about signing in or registering your Samsung device with Samsung, then I can't help you, I'm sorry.
