Serial number problem on laptop

I bought a new laptop from Samsung online. When I look at my products it shows the serial number in red and says: Unable to verify warranty due to incomplete serial number. Check the serial from your product, not the box, and enter it here to complete registration. The serial number is correct. I have been calling once a week for the last 5 weeks to get this corrected but have been getting no help. The person I spoke to today left me on the phone for 20 minutes and then disconnected me. Is there anyone from Samsung that can help.
