Easy Setting Box Install Problems

Hey there,

I am trying to setup my Samsung Odysee monitor.
When I tried to install Easy Setting Box on my computer (tried with Windows 10 + 11), the following message appeared:
"There is a problem with the windows installer package. A DLL required for this install to be complete could not be run"

But all administrator right have already been allowed to my account.

Any further ideas ? Thanks in advance!

Easy Setting Install error. Missing dll file for Windows 11

When I attempt to install on this on a new Windows 11 system, I get the error that a dll is missing. In the event viewer i see:

Product: Easy Setting Box -- Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action _183B2A37_C02E_4615_A5F5_A511B36654E5, entry: _EsbInstall@4, library: C:\Program Files\Samsung\Easy Setting Box\InstallerHelper.dll

Per other posts here, I've checked windows updates, permissions on the temp folder. Any ideas?

Search for the .dll file online and download it from a reputable source. Save the file to the folder that you'll have the program going into. If the folder hasn't been created yet, create it yourself and make sure you same the program to that folder.

Do not download DLL files from the internet.

Uninstall Easy Setting Box and then download and reinstall a new copy from Samsung's website (https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/support/resources/product-support/easy+setting+box). If you are unable to uninstall, just download and reinstall.
