Solution to fix when dell workstation 5820 nvme driver wont install-

The Windows 10 April 2018 Update (1803) OSRI media will contain the updated iaVROC 5.3 driver. If you are using older OSRI media, adding the iaVROC 5.3 driver in the Driver Boot Critical folder present on the media will help. It will load the drivers when the OSRI is loading and use this driver instead of the iaVROC 5.2 driver that is embedded in the media.

Download RSTe 5.3.1 from the: Dell Support Site
Extract the drivers to your OSRI media into the Drivers -> Boot Critical folder (Figure 1).
SLN310971_en_US__1Pre_Wind_10_NVME_Fail_ASM_01

Use the install OSRI media on system that you are trying to recover. Power on and boot to the correct media. It will now load these additional drivers while booting to the media.

This may help you,

Rachel Gomez

Hello, i got dell workstation 5820 and i installed a samsung 970 nvme drive

its working fine, but magician is telling me that the wrong driver is in use!
i tried to install the one from Samsung - but the installer says that there is no samsund drive connected and the installation quits

recenly i have updated the BIOS to the latest version, and i am having trouble getting my PC to boot, eventually i am getting it, but after 3-4 resets

anyway - is there any workaround so i can get the proper driver to work?

Thank you!
