My G5 34° joystick/jog/stick however is that button called, it works and stop working at random, it's not that is not sending any signal to the monitor, if you keep it pressed it will show the message "usb test: fail" like this:

at random it works normally, other times is not responsive at all.

I've updated to the latest firmware and the problem persists, since I've had it for a couple of years is out of warranty.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the board might be going out. You can try blowing it out with can air. I would make sure you have your settings set and leave it on stand-by incase it completely goes out. Depending upon how tech savvy you are you can replace the parts. Otherwise a repair would be needed.

Its actually easy to do. You can pull it out first and see if it will function. On ebay people sell Samsung part's . But Samsung official parts store is here https://samsungpartsusa.com/
