2TB T7 SSD data storage questions?

I recently bought the T7 @TB SSD and am using it on a Windows 11 PC to back up all my home made DVD's (As per the latest info saying that DVD's don't hold data forever). My problem is that I am saving the data to the SSD (by the blue light flashing) and when I go to My Computer and see the SSD (USB) listed it is not showing any data used (i.e. remains at 1.81TB remaining) I have put on 20 discs each of about an hour. When I click on the SSD it DOES show the movies listed and that they open OK.

I used the SSD as bought (pre formatted) and so I formatted the SSD to NFTS thinking that would fix the problem - it hasn't.

Can anybody help with this problem before I spend anymore time tansferring data?

Go to the partition manager app, and see if the drive has multiple partitions.

Hello scarpa,

Are you able to send a picture or screen shot of the properties of the SSD?
You would have to "right-click" on the name of your drive, then select the properties option.

Thank you very much for your response. I think that I was panicking as it is only now starting to show Free Space allocation now down to 1.8 TB with the blue line showing movement. So thanks very much.

I will now close this conversation

regards
