Monitor is stuck a 30 hz

After connecting my new 32 in S8 Viewfinity monitor with the included USB-C to USB-C power delivery cable to my 2020 Macbook Pro, I am unable to get it to run at 60 hz. Despite resolution changes, it's stuck at 30 hz.

Help?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! This could be due to a couple of issues. You can first make sure that the refresh rate on the MacBook is on 60 Hz in the Mac settings. You can also try to change your monitor settings if available on your specific one. Please go into your monitor’s menu > Input > USB-C Prioritization and set it to High Resolution. This will disable the hub functionality, though. The last option would be to get a better USB-C to USB-C cable. You’ll need a USB-C to USB-C cable that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode 1.4 and 4K@60Hz — ideally rated as USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3/4. Please let me know if this helps!
