I connect my Samsung odyssey g8 OLED to computer my computer can tell there's another monitor being hooked up. My monitor is on the correct source but nothing. Just says to turn on a device to output anything. I've tried multiple different cords and nothing. Please someone help me. I made sure that my graphics card is up to date and my odyssey g8.

I’m trying to connect my Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED to my computer. The PC detects that another monitor is connected, but the G8 only shows “turn on a device to output anything.” I’ve already:

Set the monitor to the correct source

Tried multiple cables (HDMI and DP)

Updated my graphics card drivers

Updated the Odyssey G8 firmware

Still no picture comes through. Has anyone run into this before or know a fix?

Which graphics card are you using?

Is it rated to meet the specs for the G8?
