Are you sure that is the correct model? That is a neo model. This one is a VA panel. Is this the correct driver: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0054075&modelCode=LS49CG954ENXZA

This is a very similar one, but I don't know how to tell if the firmware would work.

I have one of these. How do I do a firmware update?

Model Number: LS49CG950ENXZA

I don't know if that is a 0 or O. And I can't copy paste because this forum thinks it's HTML.

I have the provided cord hooked into the PC service slot and into a USB port on the side of my computer case. Can I do the firmware upgrade via that cord. I do not want to deal with a USB thumbnail device.

My current software version is M-C9549ggpa-1001.2

You will have to use a Fat32 USB Drive. This is based on the compatibility limitations of the monitor's internal firmware reader.

Which drivers should be used. This monitor doesn't seem to have any support software. If you look up its model number , it doesn't give any information.

Hi @S11UltraNoob. Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately, firmware updates can’t be performed using a PC service cable. These updates must be completed via a USB flash drive.
You can always find the latest firmware and software updates for your monitor on the Samsung Support website. Just follow these steps:

-Go to: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/
-Select “User Manuals & Downloads”
-Enter your full model number
-Download the appropriate firmware file
-Transfer the file to a USB flash drive and use it to update your monitor
Hope this helps!

Can you show me where the drivers for this monitor is specifically. I've looked repeatedly and it doesn't have any on your website for this specific monitor. Some reddit posts are saying that the model number is mismatched and you have to replace the zero with a d. This specific model does not have driver's listed.

I'm not sure which drivers are the correct drivers. This exact model doesn't seem to have any attached to its page. And that exact model number doesn't have drivers when you search for it in the driver search.
