Today, while I stepped away to clean the house, I came back to see a green vertical line of pixels and a horizontal dotted line of black pixels. Since it appears when not connected to a computer, it cant be the cable or graphics card or software. I almost have it paid off but now I am fearing the worst. Though to be honest, it is only a moderate annoyance. Has anyone seen this happen? And is it irreversible damage?

To me, that looks like either a dead pixel that's causing a short going across and down the screen. If it were the ribbon cable, it would just be the vertical line.

Have you tried the 'thwap' fix? - Yes, thwaping (flicking) it with your finger! I've seen it work getting them back into place or at least fixing the line and leaving a single dead pixel. Pressing it a bit too, but not so hard that it might crack the panel.

Hey there @CelestialForge and welcome to community! With this issue, this is going to require service. You can either send a private message to myself or any of the other mods with your monitor's full model code and serial number, or you can call 1-800-SAMSUNG and the phone agent will get you set up 🙂
