topic Lack of software support for the Samsung G81SF in Monitors and Memory

Hi! I previously used the Samsung Odyssey G7 G70B (LS28BG702EPXEN), where I was able to enable HDR10+ Gaming at any time. This feature worked both for gaming and everyday use, providing excellent image quality for media consumption as well.

I recently upgraded to the Samsung OLED G8 G81SF (LS27FG812SUXEN), as I wanted to switch to an OLED panel. However, I noticed that HDR10+ Gaming cannot be enabled manually on this monitor. It only activates in certain games, such as Cyberpunk 2077.

There is currently no option in the OSD to enable or disable HDR10+ Gaming manually. Additionally, after exiting Cyberpunk 2077, the monitor still indicates that HDR10+ Gaming is active, but this resets back to standard HDR after restarting the PC.

I would greatly appreciate a software update that allows users to manually control HDR10+ Gaming (HDR tone mapping), just like on the previous model. This would significantly improve the experience for both daily use and media consumption.

Thank you!
