topic Samsung Odyssey G70D: Display wont always wake up after PC sleep or off in Monitors and Memory

When waking the pc or simply turning it on the G70D will sometimes show the three rotating circles and then go to the blue suspend screen with the count-down.

To troubleshoot this I have checked the following:

the connection menu is always set to PC, Re-installed Windows, I've tried various cables and set the monitor to the optimum refresh rate (120Hz). I have since bought another monitor (Dell 4k) to put alongside and tested, I have even interchanged cables between them just to be sure but that one functions perfectly.

Occasionally it will stay blank and emit the windows disconnect sound repeatedly.

The only thing that remedies it is unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in, and then it will display correctly.

Monitor firmware is up to date.

Nvidia RTX 5070ti is using the latest Game Ready Driver (however it also occurs with the driver provided with Windows).

Hello @fralex117, thank you for reaching out to the Community I can understand how this issue can be very frustrating.
One thing that you can try is going to the monitors On Screen Display menu. Then go to System and turn off the Eco Saving Plus and Off Timer Plus. These features can delay the wake up process. Feel free to let up know if this helped to resolve the issue.

this is not about delaying the waking process, it straight up wont wake without a full power reset from the socket. neither of those things are on anyway.

As with seemingly many people on this forum and on reddit, these samsung monitors are riddled with issues. They dont even follow vesa spec for christs sake.
