Samsung CR49 monitor on off constantly

Hi,

My monitor was purchased new and it was working fine until a few weeks ago that it failed to stay constantly on. I had done reset several times. The monitor stays on for a minute then turn off and keeps on repeating the process. All the buttons are not function during this time. If I unplug the monitor overnight then the next morning, it will stay on for a few hours until the next sleep/timeout cycle kicks in.

Hi, and welcome to the Community, banhbao916! We understand your concern with the monitor turning off and on by itself unless you try unplugging it overnight - and then it may work for a few hours. That is not the proper function for a monitor, and we want to help.

From what you've described, we would recommend trying these two steps: make sure that the power cord is seated fully into the back of the monitor and try plugging the monitor in a different outlet. If the same thing happens after these steps, the monitor will need service.
