We understand your concern with the monitor turning off and on by itself unless you try unplugging it overnight - and then it may work for a few hours. That is not the proper function for a monitor, and we want to help.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;From what you've described, we would recommend trying these two steps: make sure that the power cord is seated fully into the back of the monitor and try plugging the monitor in a different outlet. If the same thing happens after these steps, the monitor will need service.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Samsung CR49 monitor on off constantly</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My monitor was purchased new and it was working fine until a few weeks ago that it failed to stay constantly on. &amp;nbsp;I had done reset several times. &amp;nbsp;The monitor stays on for a minute then turn off and keeps on repeating the process. &amp;nbsp;All the buttons are not function during this time. &amp;nbsp;If I unplug the monitor overnight then the next morning, it will stay on for a few hours until the next sleep/timeout cycle kicks in.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Software version: m-RG949CCPA-2002.0&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Model code: LC49RG92SSNXZA&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;S/N: &amp;lt;removed&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please help since the monitor is unusable. Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
