Charging cradle getting hot when charging

When the buds 2 pro charge is the case supposed to get hot? Whenever i wireless charge my buds 2 pro i noticed the case gets hot to the touch right below where the usb c plug is. Is this normal?

My case gets warm, but I would certainly not consider it hot. What is your definition of hot? Are you able to pick it up and hold it?
