YouTube Music turns on automatically

Hi,

Whenever I remove my right earbud, my YouTube Music automatically starts playing. This happens when I finish a phone call or watch a YouTube video; basically, it always happens. I've already tried resetting and unpairing them. How can I stop this?

Hello NYTeeSI, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We understand how frustrating it is to have YT Music start up when removing an earbud.

Go to YouTube Music and tap your icon in the top corner.

Tap Settings

Tap Playback

Toggle off Allow external devices to start playback.

Try going into your phone settings, apps, YouTubemusic. Click on YTM, deny all permissions. That should do it.
