Vcard sharing issue from contacts

On TMobile with UI6.0. Found an issue with inability to share a Vcard from contacts. Go to Contacts, select contact, tap share, select recipient in Messages (Google), opens Message but vcard is not entered into box. Anyone know of a fix?

Same issue. I have the ATT Samsung Galaxy S22. Been broken since Android 14 update.

I found that this using Google Contacts app does work. It only fails with Samsung contacts app.

Having same issue since latest update. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 - Verizon. I am only able to share as Text. The.option to export is only for all contacts. I also noticed when you add a new contact, it won't let you save, forces you to select save to phone or Google. I have many messed up. Contacts that I can't "edit" fields (addresses or phone numbers, etc.) on either the phone or Google.

Is anyone still having issues sharing vcards? I just switched over to S24 Ultra and it isn't working properly for me.

It's working fine for me. How are you trying to share it? Are you going thru contact?

Samsung S22 Ultra share contact with Vcard.

I have the S22 Ultra, I've just tried to send a contact via Vcard and it won't allow me it's worked previously, can send as txt OK .

Sorry members it's S23 ultra I'm having issues with sharing Vcard file it was working previously.

I can share as txt OK just won't allow Vcard to share.

Help with corrections on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to share to myself and my husband, but neither would share via Vcard/VCF. Is there a fix or workaround? This is annoying. I hate all the updates. It effed with my photo app editing too.

I found a solution,

Go to contacts open the symbol with the I in the middle then click the share button click share as vCard file (VCF) then click where you want to share it to, select your contact to share to in this instance I shared it in normal txt message click your preference for whom you want to share with, when it opens up your contact ( with the Galaxy S23 click the plus button in the txt message box and it opens up what you want to share to click the contact button and the vCard file will be displayed in the message box, then just click send.

Hope this helps others with the same problem I had

How is this marked as resolved if the Samsung app obviously has bugs. Does samsung have no intention of resolving this or should we stop using all samsung apps that come on our phones?

Good question. I've upgraded my phone to 24 ultra with 6.1 and still using Google apps. I tried Sansung contacts and issue still there. So maybe you're right. Use Google apps
