Hello everyone! Is there a chance that Samsung is porting its browser to operating systems, which is different from Android?

I'm fine with the browser, but I'm not happy that there's no proper unified platform.

Samsung apps are proprietary and will only work on Samsung devices, the exceptions being Smart Switch, Health App, and the Wear app. Health and wear will only work on another Android device. If you want a browser that works across all platform, stick with Edge, Chrome or Firefox.

Samsung did have a browser that worked on PC. I came out in 2023 and sometime in 2024 it went poof. Don't know why but there wasn't any fanfare. I didn't know it existed until if was removed.

Maybe no one wanted to use it? They are not going to maintain an app that isn't being downloaded.

True, but maybe they decided it would be too much of a headache to maintain a multi-platform framework.

Once I started using Samsung's browser, I loved it, especially the customization options and adblockers. I don't use Chrome at all any more unless I absolutely have to.

I'd love to try this kind of brazor too. But I didn't know it existed. Unfortunately. These are times when there are few browsers.

I don't believe that a corporation as large as Samsung is really hard to maintain. People do their brazors alone in their spare time in the evenings, especially the Chromium platform exists. There will be a brazor's existence and operation. But the number of exclusive features will really depend on the popularity of the product. After all, Samsung's browser for Android works on devices from other manufacturers, although there are fewer opportunities there, but there are still interesting functions for comparing with competitors.

I wouldn't be so categorical. They're making their eco-stamp. It's embarrassing to be in without your own browser. And they support their browser on Android, found resources for it.
