On Android15, we have an issue with SamsungTTS.
SamsungTTS can only be used with Samsung's version of TalkBack and, perhaps, the other Samsung apps. The new neural voices are getting better and better, power of phones is increasing, yet we can't use them in other text to speech apps, such as third party screen reading software, reading apps and the like.
Since this new modification is only happening on Android15, not on Android14 with the latest versions of Samsung TTS, I personally don't understand why this artificial limitation has been introduced, but it's definitely not welcome.
Samsung TTS voices are amazing and, therefore, need their openness back and to be used across all the text to speech demmanding applications across the phone.
If possible, Samsung is asked, by us users, to revert this behaviour.
Thanks for the read and best regards!
On behalf of the blind community
