I am using Samsung SMS.</P><P>When a message arrives, I ALWAYS get a notification sound UNLESS the following is true:</P><UL><LI>Mobile Data is OFF which stops all images and MultiMedia Messages.</LI></UL><P>When that is the case, I get the Notification below.</P><P><span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Notification of MM message" style="width: 400px;"><img src="https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1239915i89FCA49CCBA9FBB0/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;px=400" role="button" title="Screenshot_20250418_161425_Messages.jpg" alt="Screenshot_20250418_161425_Messages.jpg" /></span></P><P>If I then turn Mobile Data on, the real message will download and I will get the Notification sound.</P><P>The problem is that this message itself shown does not trigger a notification sound so, unless I look at my phone, I don't know that a message has arrived that can't be downloaded.</P><P>I see no setting that would apply.</P> Fri, 18 Apr 2025 20:39:12 GMT jpezz 2025-04-18T20:39:12Z
