Usually, when you use the volume buttons it controls the ringer volume. If I'm listening to audio/video, then it controls the media volume.

I noticed that if I'm connected to a device (e.g. I cast to a TV) then the volume buttons control the device volume.

But if while connected to another device, I start watching somethign on my phone YT/tiktok etc, the volume buttons continue to prioritise the connected device. To me that seems unintuitive, as the more immidiate thing in use is probably whatever is being watched on phone.

The feature suggestion would be either

1. Have the volume buttons be prioritised back to phone media volume, if you're watching something on phone (even if phone is also connected to another device, like a TV)

2. When you click the 3 dots you can see all 5 volume bars (ringer, notification, media, connected device etc) - do something similar such that I'd you're both connected to a device and watching media on phone, then volume button defaults to one, but the volume bar that pops up on the side has 2 bars, instead of 1. One for the phone media, and the other for the connected device media.
