That said think about it like this if you're not navigating or using GPS there's no need in even taking the chance of exposing your location if you're not using the card scanner which 90% of Androids these days can still scan at the register with NFC turned off there's no need for it to be on as far as sink goes you're just fine that's the matter of preferences everything you do is immediately recorded in your accounts me personally I don't leave mine on but that's just a personal preference.. they will still update on their own one way or the other but not trying to fear monger you just saying everybody has it backwards these days leaving their location wide open with Bluetooth on and NFC on it's not good practice for cyber security at all like I don't care what anyone says you can go to any website go to nordvpn they've got an awesome cyber security blog all the info you could ever ask for..
