Thank you so much. Am working my way through the list 😁 Scrcpy is next and if that fails then the adaptor. A mouse will definitely do the job 🙏

Hi,

My phone screen is frozen. I'm pretty sure I've used a Samsung app before to access it from my PC but can't remember what or how.

Can anyone assist? Is there a way to remotely access my phone screen which can be connected to my PC via cable. I cannot turn on Bluetooth but wifi is on. Thanks 🙏

Recommended ApproachStart with Samsung DeX: It’s the most likely app you used before and works via USB without needing Bluetooth. It’s also user-friendly and doesn’t always require USB debugging.
Try Scrcpy if DeX Fails: If USB debugging was previously enabled, Scrcpy is a reliable, free option.
Use OTG as a Last Resort: If neither works, an OTG adapter with a mouse can help unlock the phone or enable debugging for Scrcpy or DeX.
Smart Switch for Data: If you only need files, use Smart Switch for a quick backup. If none of these work due to the frozen screen and lack of USB debugging, you may need to take the phone to a Samsung service center for repair or data recovery. They can use specialized tools to access the device

Do you mean Link to Windows? I'm not sure you can access the phone with LtW if the screen is frozen. It depends on what you need to do. You may be able to open and work with some apps. If you just want to transfer files, you should be able to access the phone's file system.
