Measuring actual temperature feature in the Samsung Health app

I converted my lifestyle from iPhone to Samsung two weeks ago. A large reason for this was to be able to monitor my temperature by degrees in Fahrenheit. I literally a week later cannot do so. i am very disappointed. Please bring back the ACTUAL temperature read along side the fluctuations in the health app please.

There is NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, that is happy about the change in the temperature reporting. Please register your displeasure by sending feedback, so that one more voice can be heard on the matter.

Hey guys, I don't think they are going to give us back the actual real sleep temperature. For those of you who don't click the menu when the orange dot appears - found this buried in the notices:

So, for those of you disappointed in the change, continue to bombard them with feedback until we cannot be ignored.

Health App Skin Temperature

The new change that tell you the actual difference in your skin temperature is useful but can you state the actual temperature too? Before the change I was able to tell if I had a fever while sleeping which was very useful.

Please submit a feedback directly to Samsung! The only way they may change it is if they get enough complaints.

The Samsung Health app no longer shows the actual skin temperature (like 36.5°C) during sleep tracking. Instead, it now displays only the variation from your baseline temperature (e.g., +1.2°C). This change has upset many users who relied on precise values. Samsung has not yet added a toggle to restore the old format.

Interesting feature! I’ve been using the Samsung Health app a lot lately, especially during hot weather. But just like with this, I’ve also noticed my Starbucks app acting up on my Samsung device—sluggish loading and occasional crashes. Makes me think certain app updates aren’t fully optimized. for recent Samsung software changes. Anyone else seeing this?

I agree! The new temperature reading tells me NOTHING. I want the old reading back so I can see my actual temperature. Very disappointed.

Do continue to send feedback to Samsung on this. The more complaints they get on it, the likelier they are to pay attention. Even if you get a canned response, they do compile and take notice. Doing the temperature readings as they are now defeats the whole purpose people purchased these watches in the first place.

Make the first line of your report say "THIS IS FEEDBACK", so that it does not get tossed in with error reporting.

Instead, it now displays only the variation from your personal baseline (e.g., +1.3°C), not the absolute value (e.g., 36.5°C). This change has frustrated many users, and Samsung has not provided an option to revert to the old format.

It's a mystery. Samsung has decided that we, as end users, do not need to know that information. We are supposed to know what our average sleep temperature is and then divine what whether we were warmer or cooler than the mystery temperature during our night's sleep. They really took a good feature (temperature) and made it useless. I don't know what their aim was, but I suspect it was aimed at scientific metrics, and NONE of the users are scientists.

I briefly went to Apple phone and watch. The Apple watch was more comfortable. You can get better after market bands with Apple and in tune right size. I just switched back to Samsung Ultra watch. Uncomfortable for a woman. Plus I hate that they changed the temperature setting. SAMSUNG listen to your customers, you blew it.

Yep it's **bleep**. I don't like my watch anymore because of the changing temperature 😕. Also every morning have problem to see the info over sleeping, the wach mostly time needs about 20- 30 minutes to connect with the phone, drama how he is working right now
