[Update] One UI 8 Beta Expanded, Release Date Announced!!!

Samsung just announced that the One UI 8 beta program will be expanding to more Galaxy devices. The stable version will be released sometime in September, beginning with the S25 series.

The One UI 8 beta program will begin sometime next week for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in select regions, with further expansion in September to include the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54 models. I love that I can use GOOD LOCK again with the latest update. I missed it so much.

Good Lock has become very efficient in terms of updating with the newest OS. I remember having to wait weeks or months after the stable release, now most modules are functional during the last couple beta updates.

You might be thinking about the Z Fold/Z Flip 7. They both shipped with One UI 8. The S25 series is currently on beta update 4.

You're right. While everyone was upgrading from 6.1 rumors began that the 8 was in the works for the upcoming S25, thought it would be a stabled os not beta. Thanks.

The expanded functions in Good Lock modules! It seems Samsung has offloaded many things to Good Lock.

I have ask for hiding page indicators, check, now able to hide.

Asked for larger folders, check, larger folders.

Asked for (not for me) alphabetical app drawer pages, check, it's been added.

Asked to fix the ugly battery pill, no dice, still ugly and unreadable for people of a certain age.
