I didn't see a thread on this but Samsung needs some suggestions for One UI 8. Please post yours.

Option to change opacity on Samsung's lockscreen widgits.

Option to change size of Samsung's lockscreen widgits.

More colors choices to match your wallpapers. I'd suggest a color wheel.

A way to organize your Galaxy Theme Store themes and wallpapers. When you have a lot your favorite ones are hard to find. I would suggest categorizing by category example a waterfall category.

The heart shaped gallery widgit needs to move to the center.

The option to choose between the classic always on display and the new Apple Always on Display.

Here is a picture of the limited wallpaper colors we get to choose from. We definitely need a color wheel.

It would be incredible if good luck could add a nail bar module to make it into dynamic Island around the camera. I know it would be copying Apple but it is just implemented better that way especially for such things as sports scores and you would probably have more area to do it as well same for music would look better than what it is in the beta right now. More color options for Default Themes in Dark Mode

Option to increase boldness for fonts

A way to overlap widgets like third-party launchers allow

An option to change stock widget background colors and/or shape

More items being themed using Good Lock, Theme Park themes

A way to dismiss reminders and such from ALL devices on the same wifi/account login. Right now it doesn't work and I have to dismiss alerts on 5 devices separately, so annoying

A way to hear the notification sound while you're in a chat. Right now if you stay in the chat and someone responds there's no sound to alert you there's been a response. So you have to be looking at your phone in order to see the person respond. Sometimes I texts someone and walk away from my phone and forget to exit out of the chat and then there's no sound notification for the response 😮‍💨😑

As the top Android brand, Samsung should be leading—not lagging. Other phones have 100W charging and 6000mAh batteries. Meanwhile, even the Ultra models max out at 45W and 5000mAh. Battery life is weak (I get 4.5h SOT max), and Galaxy AI feels gimmicky.

Adaptive power saving should be truly smart—adjust based on what you're doing, not just limit everything. The One UI 7 rollout was messy, and bugs are still around in the stable version.

My S24 Ultra's S Pen flew out and cracked on day one from a small drop. That design needs fixing. So do animations, app optimization, and durability.

Samsung should:

Add true adaptive battery features

Improve AI usefulness

Bring native camera support to social media apps

Make software smoother and more efficient

Use the hardware's full potential

Samsung, step it up—we know you can.

The phone icon is a lot better the Bixby is worse ditto with the gallery and camera but I will not be mad if that is the final design but I do not think that the icons will change on ui 8

Since One UI 7 is mostly out (yet to be released in A Series), what do you want to see improved for One UI 8? Remember, One UI 8 is likely not as large as One UI 7, so don't expect anything game-changing. There are already some stuff about One UI 8, but they are very early builds and mainly for developer testing only, like some noticeable changes are the Weather App and Samsung Internet, with a realistic weather app background and a beautiful background for Samsung Internet.

If a Beta comes out for One UI 8, make sure to include meaningful feedback and try your best to spot bugs and issues before the Official Release, remember when One UI 6 Watch took this long to release to Galaxy Watch, that is a result from a lot of feedback regarding issues and that was a pretty stable update in comparison to Wear OS 5.1 that released to Google Pixel Watch.

Once again, the stuff you likely saw of One UI 8 are from a very early build and they are always subject to change......so, what things do you want to see improved?

I want the ability to only show icons on the NOTIFICATION shade.

Live notifications lock in the notification shade for Google Scores. Getting tired of accidentally pressing the clear all button and Google Scores get removed.

All Samsung widgets to have a remove background.

Folders when using icon packs or color palette to bring back the ability to change the color or make transparent natively without Goodlock.

Stackable app folders!

The ability to turn off page indicators , wasted space.

Transition effects when swiping from page to page.

I want the battery level to be readable again, not inside of a pill. Putting the percentage text there makes in inverse of the adaptive color rendering it unreadable on the black background of the AOD. And center it again on the AOD/Lock Screen, having it pinned to the right corner is not good for a quick glance

The ability to remove "recently added" in the contacts. Scrolling through that list to get to favorites is the stupidest thing I've ever seen on a phone.

Fix tvs battery useage problem. I never had this issue on a Galaxy until this update occurred.

More options to disable features that aren't being used.

One UI 8 DeX Homescreen.

One UI 8 DeX app drawer, similar to Windows 11/Chrome OS.

One UI 8 DeX Quick Panel, same look as One UI 7.

One UI 8 DeX Search UI

One UI 8 DeX settings and Internet Windows.

This was shared by @DevOfIpos on X/Twitter and DeX is alive and well, this is the One UI 8 version that has leaked from a Galaxy S25 Ultra running One UI 8.0 with build ending with BYE2, this is a leak of One UI 8 DeX so it is still an early version but they have added One UI 7's battery icon and elements to it.
