If I have to pay for a subscription to have the ads free experience on my browser in the future, so be it. I already have a NordVPN subscription for privacy so ad-free will another thing on my list of bills.
Thank you for the information regarding Apple and Google. I know Samsung copies many things from Apple. Hopefully, Samsung will maintain its course of no charges for ads-free experience with their internet browser. And if it comes down to money, I just might have to subscribe for ads-free experience like I do with NordVPN and it's privacy. We have so many subscriptions for everything nowadays anyways.

Same here. I installed AD Blocker for Samsung (add-on) in the menu within Samsung internet browser. It worked beautifully for about a week and now I'm seeing ads every time I open Samsung internet browser.
Also seeing ads in Samsung News app. What's going on with Samsung??

It's the pressure to make money. I read an article about this recently, but chrome is the most popular browser firstly because of how big Google is and how their programs are onnmost machinery worldwide.
Even most Apple users opt to use Chrome rather than Safari. Safari is like the poorest performing browser out there.
But little did I know , all this time, Samsung was quietly swimming against the grain , offering it's users ad blockers in its native browser. I had only learned it a few months ago, tbh. I've never been one to be bothered too much by ads , but yesterday was a tough day, and I just wanted to listen to Chase hughes new video without these organizations reaching out to me like i have $ for their services . They should do different ad campaigns for people without jobs, so they could get a job instead of being bombarded by companies looking for money where there isn't .
Whoever makes that change , will change the world for the better.....

I don't see any options for add ones anymore on my browser, I've read add ons might go away eventually becsuse theyre a security risk, ... Idk....

I started getting ads again,
And so I still had to completly wipe all the site settings and history, and cookies ...

Then , finally I had an ad free experience ,

But , like you, ...

I've started getting them again....

It sucks , but ads is how they make money, everyone , ....

I'm surprised Samsung has committed to giving their users and ad free experience built in,
If it could continue, that'd be great , ... But I predict they'll follow the leader... As they've been doing ,

They let Google take over their messaging app, and Google processes can run more often than the Samsung system firmware at times...
But the trends seem to point to homogenization. I'm reading the Android 16 experience is becoming like that of Apple phones ....

It's all just about money at the end of the day,... Their money...

I don't hate big tech,
But they often don't understand what choices they make and how it affects society

I read it .

You wanna know something interesting that sort of answers the crazy thing happening to you?

Ok, so, most web browsers will allow you to preview the page you are going to load next .

Most browsers allow this function by you long clicking links.

In chrome , you'll get a menu.
It'll allow for a flurry of options .
"Open in new tab, copy link , etc"

If you copy the link, and paste it in s word editor, you can see all the malarkey redirect **bleep**,.

The way a lot of companies make their money is embedded within these url codes.
It lets them know who pays who.
It also let's hackers redirect or install malicious scripts within the pages that are loaded.

If you edit the urls with a word editor , you can get to pages you normally wouldn't , shake off snoopers ,... A lot of the crazy **bleep** done with tech isn't known the the common layperson , there are ridiculously few people teaching it, and you can see why, id imagine.
