      <description>&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;We are observing an issue where &lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Samsung Health is not writing Steps data to Google Health Connect&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, even though write permissions are properly granted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Important:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;This issue is occurring &lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;across multiple Android devices&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, so it does not appear to be device-specific.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Current Setup:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Health Connect installed and functioning&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Write permission enabled for:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BLOCKQUOTE&gt;Health Connect → App permissions → Samsung Health → Steps (Write allowed)&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Samsung Health is correctly tracking and displaying steps internally&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Steps data exists inside Samsung Health&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Issue:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;P class="p4"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s3"&gt;Despite write access being granted, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;no Steps records from Samsung Health appear inside Health Connect&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s3"&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Troubleshooting Already Attempted:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Revoked and re-granted Health Connect permissions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Restarted devices&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Cleared Samsung Health cache&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Verified permissions multiple times&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Tested on multiple Android devices&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Expected Behavior:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Once write permission is granted, Samsung Health should write Steps data into Health Connect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Actual Behavior:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H3&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Steps remain only inside Samsung Health and are not available in Health Connect for other apps to read.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Is there any additional configuration required to enable Steps sync to Health Connect?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Is this a known limitation or bug?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Any guidance would be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
