Samsung notes text editing

If I change the fonts and colors of text in the notes app, and then I hit "enter" to go to the next line, the font and color for text I chose previously carries over. Is there any way to have the text font and size and style and boldness go back to its default anytime I hit enter so I don't have to readjust the text every time I move to the next line.

So like if I'm making a a list with like headings and details underneath if I hit enter after I finish editing the text for the heading, the heading settings carries on to the regular text. is any way to fix that?

I have the same issue when using Google docs as well

Instead of changing styles manually:

1. Type all your text first in the default format.

2. Go back and highlight only the headings to make them bold/colored. This prevents the formatting from "sticking" to the new line.
