Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – Exchange email not syncing in background

After a system update around Feb 2026, Samsung Email stopped syncing in the background.

I’m using an Exchange (Microsoft 365, outlook.office365.com) account. Emails and calendar updates (including meeting changes) do not sync in real time and only update when I manually open the Email app.

Tried:
• Unrestricted battery
• Removed from sleeping apps
• Background data + auto sync ON
• Sync set to “Auto (when received)”
• Cleared cache
• Removed and re-added account

Worked fine before. Anyone else experiencing this or found a fix?
