have we not noticed samsung tryna silence / change everything we say on here? if it doesn't break the rules, don't change what we have to say. we are clearly upset about certain changes or want to bring up certain issues. let us express that in our own ways respectfully.

random changes keep occurring that don't even need to happen, like random title changes and forum switches. we sometimes just want posts to stay the way they are, they're completely on-topic no matter how you look at it. it's frankly just annoying and unnecessary having to change it back constantly. with this certain situation, it feels like silence and ignorance on samsung's behalf, i won't lie.

Unfortunately, some users have chosen to post multiple entries on the same topic. Some even appear to have cut and pasted their threads or, at best, a glitch occurring in the system where a entry is posted twice. This can be seen as spamming the feed or an error to be correct by moderators. Some users then declare that they're being unfairly censored.

Kindly note that this is a public forum operated by a private entity, and First Amendment rights do not apply. They have the authority to manage it as they see fit.

When a topic garners many separate posts, the moderators combine them into a more manageable single thread, hence the title changes. No one needs to see a hundred posts on the same subject matter. It's much better to have a single post where everyone with the same issue can have their say. They did the same thing with the update posts and the "where's the beta" posts.

The fact is that the terms of service actually says they may do this. It also asks that people join a thread already in progress, rather than create a new post.

"Samsung reserves the right to moderate the activity on the Community and may remove or edit any Content for any or no reason, including by removing or editing Content that in Samsung’s sole discretion violates these Community Terms or any applicable provision of the T&Cs. Additionally, Samsung has the right to remove, edit, move or close any comment thread at any time and Samsung may take any of the foregoing actions without any prior notification to any party. None of Samsung’s moderation, editing or removal of any Content in any way is or implies an endorsement or publication of that Content by Samsung."

its kinda crazy since this is technically a social app, not just a support app. so people talk or chat the way they would like any other app, its definitely understandable. but also kinda unfair to get "corrected" when theres nothing to correct.

well ofc there will be multiple posts this is an app where you post your problems and raise concerns / express your opinions, it feels restricting and kinda pointless to force people to just stay in one post since we all got different things to say and had many other type of experiences, that's just my opinion.

probs mixed up my replies lol, but technically the forums can be forced, but changing people's entire entry or restricting them to one spot is not very ideal if we're on a support app with social elements and frankly, didn't break any major rules to warrent them. 🥀

It's a privately owned public forum with its own rules and is operated as such. Online forums long pre-date social media. The problem is that people are more familiar with social media and its conventions as opposed to how online forums work. Here are the ground rules that everyone who posts here agrees to abide by:

https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Guidelines/Community-Guidelines-Ground-Rules/ba-p/3411146?src=ShareByUserCM

true, i doubt people actually look through the forums since the default is set to "all" which is more efficient. my take is kinda not everyone will say or experience the same thing, i would understand taking down multiple posts about the messages switch since they basically say the same thing. but the more posts, the more samsung knows how many people are upset about it so i kinda understand why people are doing it. but in other cases where its just people bringing up their own experience with an issue, people will just say to "look at all the other posts about this, your experience doesn't matter" or getting your posts "corrected" like you did something wrong yet the change doesn't make much sense at all or influence the post in any way.
