I lost all my notes and important information on my "simple journal" app.

Please help me find it.

I'm not very good at searching my android for missing things.

I'm really sick about this.

I have all my notes about my mother and the things she was dealing with and now she's passed away 😢

I would be most greatful for any help.

Kindly,

Barbara Pearce

I was messaging with Mikko, the developer and now, no response

"Hi Barbara, Really sorry to hear about your mother having passed away.

Seems like you had the subscription -- remember if you had Drive sync enabled? If you did, you'd go to Simple Journal's settings (through the three dots when you swipe down) and then at the top of the screen there you should be able to sign back in (using the same google account you did previously) and enable sync. Then it should sync back data from your Drive.

Let me know if that doesn't work or you run into issues. Happy to try and help the best I can.

Mikko"

Have you tried to look in your my files app for the folder. Even if you had a cloud subscription all notes should have been stored locally for offline access.

Go to your My Files app, look for internal storage, in the search bar type in the app name and see if there is a folder for that app. If there is a folder it should all be there. If you have given an entry a tile you should be able to search that way too.
