Idk if this is the place to post this but ik that the video app wasn't getting anymore updates but I don't believe it should've been taken away or I should be able to download it and whatever version is available.

It's built into the Gallery app.

Why do you need it as a separate app?

Tap the menu 3 lines you will see videos!

In the gallery app you can't pick multiple videos to play back 2 back.

You actually can. Select multiple videos and tap the "create" button at the bottom to make a movie of those combined videos.

It doesn't have to be a separate app if you leave it in gallery just give me a dedicated section for videos with all the features the samsung video app had and I'll be good

Well, that's the way it works now, as far as I can tell. Submit feedback from the "support" tab of the Members app if you want to complain directly to Samsung.

Or it would be nice to be able to make Videos and essential album so that I could see the album when I open the gallery app instead of having to "dig" for it.

"Videos" is a category that pulls together all the video files on your phone, wherever they may be stored. That's why it's not available as an essential album. Tap the menu button, then tap "videos."
