Let's keep Samsung messaging

I understand that this issue is related to RCS messaging, and I believe Samsung has the capability to address it without relying on Google Messages. I kindly request that you prioritize this matter and implement a resolution.

Samsung is not going to keep their own RCS server, Google isn't going to give access to theirs to third party apps, and there is too much money involved in being able to vacuum up your messages to allow peasants like us to keep using it as an SMS client, which could work for the next 10 years just fine without any involvement from Samsung or Google. Which is why it is not happening.

Sorry dude, the carriers will not let RCS run from their servers, their solution offloading to Googles Jibe servers.

The former two are software companies though, the latter isn't. And there isn't any money in it for them.
To me the real questions are why it won't work anymore as an SMS client, which is all anyone who cares about privacy would care for, and what other software on these phones has kill switches in it.
