Are you sure you are hitting the post button after you finish writing and going through the captcha process (if there is one)? There is usually a captcha on the web interface. I looked at your profile and there are only two posts and no comments there - this one and a previous one about the OneDrive sync.

What do you find confusing about the app? It's actually pretty straightforward. You hit reply, type your text and hit the "post" button.

I appreciate the replies I've had to my posts, but when I reply it's never visible in the discussion.

Another thing to love about Samsung, I suppose, but is there a reason/fix for this that I haven't found?

I'm posting on the web from a Surface. I couldn't make sense of the Community app on my S24, but this should work. I've been replying to email notifications of people replying to my posts, and I can see their chain of replies to my initial posts, but I'm not part of the party.

Thanks in advance if you never hear from me ...

Hi Cosmic Ray,

And in case this is working now, you asked a question before. This is the notice about end of OneDrive support:

April 11, 2026

Samsung stops onedrive support

Samsung has announced that it will stop supporting Microsoft's OneDrive for photo backups on April 11, 2026. This change is part of Samsung's strategy to integrate its own cloud service, Samsung Cloud, into the Gallery app. Users will be encouraged to migrate their photo backups to Samsung Cloud, which offers up to 15GB of free storage and allows for syncing various data types, including photos and videos. This transition is expected to strengthen Samsung's ecosystem and provide users with a more integrated and secure backup solution.

I would need about 250GB of cloud if I wanted to go over to Samsung Cloud from the OneDrive solution that was working so maybe more than $US10 a month, forever, whereas I already have 1TB of OneDrive.

They're only doing it to try and force users to abandon other cloud services, not because they've added anything useful. I don't agree with that mindset, so I'd rather switch phones if I had to.

However, I've set up Syncthings to backup up the entire camera folder on the S24 wirelessly to my PC, avoiding any cloud altogether, which frankly is a better solution. Sync the phone every so often, new stuff auto-uploads to my PC and everything gets backed up nightly over the home ethernet to the downstairs server. My stuff's still on the phone if I need it, but now it's permanently safe via my existing backup workflow.

Hope you see this ...

That would not explain why your replies disappear. This one didn't. If they were posted, they would appear in your comment history, and they do not. So, you may have missed the little pink blurb atop the text box that says "an unexpected error has occurred" or "server error", or the dreaded "you have used a word not allowed on this forum, please remove the forbidden word". These usually happen because either the captcha didn't communicate with the captcha server or you used a forbidden word. You never know what the forbidden word is, they expect you to guess. Many, many, many ordinary words get caught in the overly sensitive AI censor. I usually copy my text to the clipboard before posting in case my message disappears.

Thanks again, Cosmic Ray and Pianodude58,

"I know how to post ..." Yikes! I mean, I do, but I definitely did not describe the process correctly. Yes, reply, type in missive, prove I'm sentient, try and Post, correct any flagged errors (there was some errant HTML from the paste which got auto-removed), then Post again ... voila, should be working ...

I can see my posts now, including the ones from before that weren't showing up, so I'll accept that I was "perhaps" at fault and assume that now I really do know how to post.

Thank you, I appreciate the help very much.

And since I found a way to save my camera content on my phone while avoiding bending to Samsung's will, all in all a good day.
