Can we please move the clear all notification button. Or at least have a prompt asking if you want to do this. I can to tell you the amount of times I have accidentally cleared all of my notifications because that button is so poorly placed.

I don't see anything wrong with the placement of the "clear" icon in the message area. I have, on occasion, actually missed tapping the exact spot when I wanted to clear, but never accidentally hit it when I didn't want to.

It used to trail the last notification you had. If any. Either that or have it directly between the notifications and the brightness slider. That would make most sense to me.

It makes no sense to have it at the top of the phone. One UI is a bottom-up skin, so it should be easy to reach with one hand. I can't reach it with one hand because I have small hands and a big phone. My thumb can't go all the way across the phone.

This could be a setting added to QuickStar, though. I think Samsung should have left or right-handed operations, like we have on our watches, depending on how we hold our phones.

Yes, it was moved for easier one handed reachability. One Ui is mostly bottom up.
I still want the settings and power button moved to the bottom.

There have been countless numbers of times there i go to swipe up from that area and accidently hit the clear button. It's directly in line with the swipe gestures. Same with the notifications settings button

Which swipe gestures are you using? The standard Android gestures or Samsung's "swipe from bottom" option? I can see how that would be a problem with the bottom gestures. I use the standard gestures and never have incidental contact with either of those buttons.

If you are constantly clearing your notifications before you get to see them. I suggest downloading Good Lock's NotiStar module which will preserve all your notifications. If this phenomenon was happening to anyone besides you who uses gestures, I can assure you that there would be more posts than just your one on this site.

I used to use those, too. I switched to the standard Android gestures when I moved to a non-Samsung phone as my primary. After a brief adjustment period, muscle memory developed. I actually prefer the standard gestures and don't have to adjust between my various Android devices.

Not everyone is capable of or wants to use a phone one handed. Manual dexterity deteriorates with age and arthritis. A better alternative rather than moving all the buttons for everyone, would be to move the buttons (or allow button movement) in one handed mode.

That explains everything on why you would like it moved. That information should have been in this post. It's a niche setting that most people don't use I used it until they introduced side swipe for back gestures.
