REPETITIVE NOTIFICATIONS

I would like to know how to receive a notification of a new text only ONCE? NOT OVER & OVER & OVER EVERY 30 SECONDS FOREVER OR UNTIL I READ IT!!!! IT'S VERY "OBVIOUS" that I've Got a NEW message both Audibly JUST ONCE AS WELL AS VISUALLY!!! 😤😠

Okay, I've turned off "alarms and reminders". Will that fix it?

It might be in the text message settings... I use Google messages and it's an option to have it repeat messages

@Jfrustrated To find Message Reminders:

Open phone settings
Click on Notifications
Click on Advanced settings
Click on the switch to the right on Notification reminders to turn it on/off.
Click on the text "Notification reminders" and you can enable/disable or adjust when and how the reminders occur.
