Sorry not an answer. Adding to the quesstion.I tried last night in a hotel and even ended up buying an app. Seemed like I should have been able to because everything seemed good, same wifi in case anyone is wondering. But I never got it. Messed with it for 30 mins and spent five bucks. Nope.

Unfortunately, Samsung TV does not have an option to cast to the TV.

However, I was able to screen share a Note20 to a Roku TV following these steps:

1. Connect the phone and TV using SmartThings. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062585/

2. Once the TV and phone are connected, open the Samsung TV app and enjoy.
