you download it to your device. Samsung Music is just your audio player.

When you want to get music on Samsung Music, I recommend you put them in the "Music" folder found in the file system. As for deleting, nothing should delete, though def keep backups outside the folder. I've had some folders magically delete and went through reporting it to Samsung. But that seems to be rare
