Question, how come youtube doesn't want to transfer music that we (the consumer) download from there to the Samsung music app or vice versa? To me, it's a waste of money paying 10$ a month and not doing anything for it.

If you pay for youtube music you don't own the music you download. Essentially you just rent it. so naturally, they wouldn't let people transfer it

The offline playlist you downloaded will only work within the YouTube music app. Since you do not actually own the music it is also encrypted as well, it's usually saved as .exo file format even if you copy these files else where it won't work also I believe there is a real time encryption on it as well as you need to go online maybe once a month or the offline playlist will stop working completely even on YouTube music.
