It is also used to register your device(s) for warranty, etc. It provides access to many things that are Samsung specific.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;The login user name could be the same for both since you need to use an email for the Samsung account.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For best experience on your Samsung, you need both accounts.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;It is very confusing for me to have both a Samsung and Google accounts.&amp;nbsp;Would it be easier to have created completely different accounts?&amp;nbsp;This is my first time using a Samsung Phone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;</description>
