I understand you are having issues downloading a software update on your phone that requires an app on your computer. LongHiker has provided the link to Samsung smart switch if needed. Here are the steps to update to a new software if one is available.&lt;BR /&gt;Step 1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Step 2. Open Smart Switch on your PC.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Step 3. If a software update is available, Smart Switch will automatically prompt you to update the software or display an option to update.&lt;BR /&gt;Step 4. Tap Update and follow the on-screen instructions to download the necessary files and complete the update process.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;You may check for software updates in your settings by going to Software update&amp;gt; download and install. You can check for security update in your settings by going to Biometrics and security&amp;gt; security updates.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P style="margin: 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you're experiencing unusual behavior on Samsung mobiles, tablets or wearables, You can send us an error report or ask us a question in the Samsung Members app.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Software updates are also rolled out by the carrier to the users, so reach out to them first.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
