Receiving calendar reminders that aren't mine

I am frequently recieving calendar reminders that I have not put in my calendar. NO one has access to my phone except me. I've recieved 3 so far this week.

@Diwax It could be that these events are automatically being created by spam that you are receiving. To disable the automatic creation of events from email, see this link -> https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/6084018?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

The above comment is likely correct. Though it could also be any other emails you've signed into also add their own calendar events to your calendar.

I have discovered that I'm on a shared Samsung calendar with a friend. Thus, I'm recieving here notification reminders.
I recently got a new phone and didn't realize my calendar is now the Samsung calendar. My old phone was a Google Calendar. I don't want the Samsung calendar. How do I get my Google Calendar again. Also stop/delete the Samsung share calendar with my friend. I didn't request the share or sync with her. NOT sure how this happened or is happening.

@moon17 You are not forced to use Samsung Calendar. If you want to use Google Calendar use it. I use an app called aCalendar+ because I like the additional features.

For the shared calendar, have you tried going to the hamburger (3 line) menu in upper left and tried to remove that calendar?

OR going to the hamburger (3 line) menu in upper left, click the gear icon, click Manage calendars and tried to disable that calendar?
