Technically they are still in the store but after updating you no longer have access to them and can no longer see them you can only find the wallpaper or icons but not the themes. The themes I bought before they disappeared from the store can be accessed in purchases they work just fine with the newer UI versions there is no reason why they should've been removed for most of us.
