Unfortunately when it comes to themes it's up to the theme developer to update their themes for the new UI updates unfortunately it is very common that most of these Developers don't do that I'm sure they want to sell you new ones but it's also most of them are not even around anymore this has been this way since the very beginning unfortunately and is exactly why I typically will only use Samsung developed themes and free without ads. I look at it almost like a new video game console same concept game companies only want to put money into something that they know lots and lots of people having use forgetting about the people they actually do have unfortunate but a sad reality eventually some will work but I would say 90% of the time most of them will not be ever optimized for the new operating system and even though they work when you get them through your purchase history there's other things that we don't notice that could be happening but one of the worst is they normally drain your battery more
