Samsung TV Plus disappeared.

This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You

Mine is also gone and in it's place is cable tv which I do not have.

I am having the same issues for my 75" Samsung TV. Been out for 2 hours now and no information has been published on what is the issue or that they are working on it. Called the tech support and there is a 1 hour 30 minute wait time.

Hey everyone,

I woke up today and found no samsung tv plus on my tv. But when you go to the universal guide and it says watch and samsung tv plus and then it gives the option to install but it is not installing. Did samsung remove this app??? Why???? It works on my phone but not the tv??

Same here. If I try to watch a show on Samsung TV Plus, it says the Samsung TV Plus Service has been deleted. It offers the option to install it, but does nothing when you choose that.

Yes! Mine was out this morning also. The Samsung live app is replaced by live tv cable app, which I don't have. I've been searching for 2 hours for a solution with no answers to be found.

It offers to let me reinstall but every time I hit it nothing happens. I just want my TV shows back at this point

Same here. We thought the dog stepped on the remote. I tried a factory reset.

Me too! I just did a complete reset and that didn't work either. Please help Samsung!

I can't even get to that point of being offered a reinstall. I tried to add the app and it doesn't recognize that as an option.

I tried searching it on the App Store for my TV and all sorts of variations of spelling and spacing, and it didn’t find the Samsung TV plus app.

Same. No Samsung TV plus on my TV after a factory reset that was suggested to fix another issue by a Samsung Rep, which it didn't fix of course...This company is really just neglecting patrons left and right it seems like to often. Which is sad because they did quite well in their earlier years.

Their moderators give generic answers that seem entirely scripted and seem to be lacking technological literacy on a basic level in many instances, then they direct you to a 1-800 number so you can re-explain your issue to probably two, three, or four people before either not having it handled at all or possibly finally getting it fixed if you're lucky.

I set up a call back yesterday for somebody to call and help me with the tv through a Samsung representative and never received the call on my Samsung phone. Fixing to become a NO Samsung kind of house if they keep up the blatant laziness in their engineering products, services, and moderating/helping/wasting people's hard earned money & time this way.

Same issue here, it appears to be a universal for everyone. Samsung TV plus also has a programed button on my remote and when pressed it just says "not available".

I'm in the same boat. Mine disappeared to and I can find a way to add it back. I've been working on this for the last hour without any luck.

Same here, it was replaced by a live TV (cable) app but no samsung TV plus
