Factory reset on the Galaxy Tab S 9+ Tablet

I made a mistake and locked my new S 9+ and need to do a Factory Reset.

How do I do that?

How can I do that if I can't get into the tablet if it is locked and can't sign in? You need to read my post. It's locked.

Oh you mean you Locked you tablet? I apologize your questions keep saying "Lucked I took it as you f..... your tablet up with settings and needed to start over. Step 1 You need to hold the power with volume down to disable step 2 press and keep the power key plus the volume up simultaneously step 3 when the Samsung logo shows let go of the combination and wait for recovery mode select the option “wipe data/factory reset” from the menu to act.

There is no Home button on the S 9+. Try again please.

I have the remote turn off. That was the first thing Samsung support asked me to do.

That is what i am doing now. Right now the tablet is at 78% power. Taking for ever to get to zero. I was at 100% on Saturday 12 August and today as i write this it August 16.

I'm pretty sure that you need to connect the USB to a PC or other device on the S9

Turn off the device

* Connect to a computer via USB

Press and hold Volume Up + Power buttons simultaneously till the device logo appears

When it logo appears, release Power button but hold the others few more seconds

Release all the buttons when Recovery Mode screen appears

You can use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to scroll up or down, and the Power button to select

Using the Vol Down rocker, select Factory Reset

Press the Power button to select

* Some devices need to be connected to a computer in order to enter the Recovery Mode.t

Ok, I plug the tablet into a PC. What does that do? I don't unstained what that will do if you don't hit any buttons on the PC. I can't get the tablet to turn off. It won't late me.

I plugged the tablet into my PC and did the step and it worked. Need to write that down if it does that again.

Samsung (or Android) changed the process a while ago but not on all devices so I really don't know when it happened. I would guess Android 13 but I'm really not sure
