Unable to Save to USB from Galaxy Ultra S9+

Hello community! I recently received my new tablet but I am needing some help on how I can save Word documents using my usb flash drive. I have purchased the femal c-port which allows me to insert the flash drive but I have been unsuccessful in locating the actual device within my tablet. Could someone please assist me? @ThatgirlDee Open the My Files app. You should see the drive there.

Is this drive viewable in any other USB-C devices?
I would check that. It's always a possibility the thumb drive itself is faulty.

That's exactly what the issue was. I purchased a new thumb drive and it's working product fine now. Thank you all for your help.
