Can't update security, One UI or OS on S5e / sm-t720

My Wi Fi Galaxy Tab S5e sm-t720 will not update security, One UI or OS. Has been set to auto update, over the years I have clicked check for update, but did not get concerned until a financial services app stopped working due to security. Tried freeing up memory, smart switch, and exhausted the chat line on Samsung support.

I am on Android 9 and the original 2019 security patch. The update history shows that I should be able to get to Android 11 and a 2023 security patch level- is there a way to do that?

Well, I exhausted all easy options and found the current firmware online (https://samfrew.com/download/Galaxy__Tab__S5e____-WiFi-____/vgkf/XAR/T720XXS3DWA1/T720OXM3DWA1) downloaded the Odin3 firmware flashing app, and got up to date with Android 11, One UI 3.1 and security patch Nov 1 2022.

Took a lot of research and several sites for the software and procedures, each with a leap of faith that they are legit, but the nearest repair facility is two hours away so I gave it a shot: Worked without drama, no data loss.
